The product is a kind of insecticide based on benzoyl carbamide. It kills pests by preventing the chitin of insects from synthesizing, and getting in the way of the growth of insects. It is so different from the traditional insecticides which aim at damaging the nervous systems of the insects that it can be disintegrated by microorganism and do no harm to human beings and most animals. The authorities regard it breaking a new way to kill pests by using chemical methods without doing harm to natural enemies of pests and more important, no harm to ecologic environment. Therefore it becomes main products of pesticide based on modifying agent. 3 to 5 days after spraying the product, it works. Far fewer leaves are eaten especially when the pests are in their larval stage. 7 days later, the effect of protection is still up to 90%. Protection for longer period can be ensured.
